Niagara County Declares May 14 Apraxia Awareness Day

The Niagara County Legislature issued a proclamation declaring May 14 at Apraxia Awareness Day to help raise awareness about this disoreder.  ssue.   Apraxia is a speech sound disorder where someone has trouble saying what he or she wants to say correctly and consistently.  Those with Apraxia have a good understanding of language and know what they want to say.
