Niagara County Legislature Recongizes NYS Sheriff's Week

September 17 through September 23 is recognized as Sheriff's Week in New York State to celebrate the tremendous work down by county sheriff departments across New York State.   Legislator Rick Abbott, on behalf of the Niagara County Legislature, presented a proclamation to Sheriff Michael Filicetti and his leadership team in honor of the occasion.

Legislator Abbott said, “We thank Sheriff Michael Filicetti and the great women and men of the Niagara County Sheriff's Office for all they do to keep our communities safe.  We truly have the premier Sheriff’s Office in all of New York.”
