Niagara County Residents of All Ages Urged to Attend Free Brown Bag Medication Checkup

The Council for Older Adults (COA)* in Niagara County, in collaboration with D’Youville School of Pharmacy, the Niagara County Department of Health andBrownBagFlyer_0712 the Niagara County Office for the Aging, invites ALL Niagara County residents to attend a free brown bag medication checkup event. 

When:  Monday, July 31, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Where:  Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY 14132

Please bring in your brown bag ALL:

  • PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES (INCLUDING PILLS & CREAMS)
  • OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINES TAKEN REGULARLY
  • VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS, AND HERBAL MEDICINES.

You will receive a free medication consultation with a D’Youville School of Pharmacy student who will review all your medications with you and you will leave with an updated medications list. A licensed pharmacist will also be present to answer any of your questions.

There will also be free blood pressure screening and you will receive a free FILE of LIFE magnet kit. While this is a FREE event, registration is encouraged.

The Niagara County Office for Aging and the Niagara County Department of Health will also be onsite with information about additional services and programs available through the county.
