New York State Canal Corporation Says All Portions of Canal Scheduled to Open Friday, May 19

The New York State Canal Corporation announced this week, that, conditions permitting, all portions of the New York State Canal system are scheduled to open Friday, May 19, 2023, for the annual Navigation Season. As the Canal Corp. continues to recruit seasonal staff, lock operating hours may differ from previous seasons at various locations. As staff positions are filled, hours will be adjusted and communicated.
