Employment Opening

Family or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

The Niagara County Department of Health Nursing Division is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Family or Women’s Health to contract for a position in the Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic. The clinic is located at 1001 Eleventh Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301 and operates on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The contracted Nurse Practitioner would perform physical exams and conduct testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.

Contract requirements include providing proof of professional and general liability insurance, auto insurance and copies of nursing, nurse practitioner and DEA licenses.

Nurse Practitioner will need to provide proof of medical exam, TST and immunization history as required by NYSDOH regulation for healthcare professionals.

Nurse Practitioner must also sign a collaborative practice agreement with the STD Clinic Medical Director.
