As the Sheriff's Office has said, it is crucial that we remember the importance of the mission of our Corrections employees. By standing their watch, walking their beats, and patrolling their fences, they ensure the safety of our community. However, this is only part of their work. It is their task to send people back to the community in a better condition than when they first entered the facility. It takes so much training, personal care and empathy to be successful in this career field. A Corrections Officer must be strong in mind, body and resolve. Thank you to our staff for the outstanding quality of professionalism you put forward, your work does not go unnoticed.
