Niagara County to Host Windsong Mobile Mammography in Ransomville

Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers today announced that Windsong Mobile Mammography will be hosting an event at Heritage Manor of Ransomville on Monday, April 24 to conduct breast cancer screening.  Appointments must be scheduled with Windsong prior to the event.

“Windsong Mobile Mammography has been a great partner with Niagara County in bringing their mobile unit right into our community to make it as easy as possible for women to get this screening done,” said Myers.

The event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Manor of Ransomville located at 3509 Ransomville Rd. To request an appointment, call Windsong at (716) 929-9494 or go to their website at

Windsong’s Mobile Mammography Unit accepts all major insurances. However, if you do not have health insurance, you may be eligible for a mammogram at no cost to you.  Call Windsong for further information.

“Too often, women have so much on their plate that they do not make their own health care a priority,” said Myers.  “But as a breast cancer survivor, I know that early detection is the key to battling breast cancer.  So take advantage of this opportunity right in your backyard and schedule today.”
