Latest Edition of Niagara County Update now available, Chairman Wydysh & County Manager Updegrove Discuss State Mandates

The latest Niagara County Update show with Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh is now available on demand from Lockport Community Television (LCTV). Chairman Wydysh is joined by Niagara County Manager Rick Updegrove to discuss policies from New York State that continue to place unfair burdens on counties, including shifting additional costs associated with the Medicaid program.  The latest plan from Albany would cost Niagara County $6 million, nearly 10 percent of the property tax levy.
