Niagara County Department of Health Hosts KidFest Family Health Fair

Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) and the Town of Newfane will host KidFest Family Health Fair at Krull Park on Friday, July 29th. The health fair will feature free activities for children and families including lawn and garden games, Zumba, STEM, and reading/literacy.  NCDOH will be providing information on various county programs including chronic disease, lead prevention, healthy homes, and rabies.  In addition to the Niagara County Sheriff, Newfane Public Library, and Child Advocacy Center of Niagara, more than 20 agencies will be attending to provide information and resources on community services, health insurance, mental health, family safety and more.  This event is part of the ice cream - COVID Vaccine campaign sponsored by the NCDOH.  First, second and booster vaccines will be available for everyone ages 6 months and older, and everyone that is vaccinated at this event will receive a coupon for a free ice cream.

When: Friday, July 29th, 2022 – 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Where: Lion’s Pavilion, Krull Park, 6108 East Lake Road, Olcott, NY

“We are excited to welcome this event in Newfane-Olcott where family-friendly attractions, entertainment, shopping and dining offer the perfect summer setting,” said Shawn Foti, 14th District Legislator, Niagara County.  “This is a great opportunity for our residents to explore the free resources participating agencies have to offer, and we encourage everyone to attend.”


“The County has teamed up with many local community partners to present this family health fair,” said Daniel Stapleton, Niagara County Public Health Director. “We are really pleased with the number and diversity of organizations in attendance,” continued Stapleton, “and we hope this will be a fun event with valuable information and resources that will benefit families in Niagara County”
