Niagara County to Hold Career Fair in Niagara Falls

Space Still Available for Businesses Looking to Participate

The Niagara County Department of Employment and Training will be holding a career fair for those seeking employment from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26 at the Niagara Riverside Resort, 7001 Buffalo Ave. in Niagara Falls.  Close to 70 companies with open positions have signed up to take part and there is still room for employers who would like to participate.

“We anticipate this being one of the larger career fairs we have held in some time, so we have a great venue that can accommodate a significant number of job seekers and employers,” said Donald Jablonski Director of Employment and Training.  “If you are an employer looking to hire, call us now and secure your spot at this job fair.”

Jablonski said with the tight labor market, employers are anxious to meet candidates and career fairs earlier this year saw people get hired on the spot.

“Our department receives calls every day from employers looking for workers to fill a host of positions,” said Jablonksi.  “Anyone looking for a job, regardless of skill and educational level, should attend this event.  Plus, our WorkSource1 team will be present to provide job seekers with servicers like resume writing and interview prep, so they have the support they need as they conduct their job search.”

Businesses interested in participating should call (716) 278-8108.  To learn more about the career fair visit https://www.worksource1.com/job-seeker/career-fair.
