July 29 - August 4, 2021 COVID-19 Update

The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following weekly update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County from July 29 through August 4.  Reports will be made each Wednesday.  

• 122 new positive cases 
• Total of 20,052 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths) 
• 138 active cases (129 isolating at home, 9 in hospital) 
• 19,552 recovered 
• 362 deaths  
• 118,613 residents with at least one vaccine dose (https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/covid-19-vaccine-tracker) 
• 3.8% Positivity Rate, 7-day average (https://forward.ny.gov/percentage-positive-results-county-dashboard)
