May 21 COVID-19 Update

  The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

 

                We regretfully report the deaths of two Niagara County residents.  We extend our deepest sympathy to their family and friends:

  • An 83 year-old male with underlying health conditions
  • Another 83 year-old male with underlying health conditions 

    The rest of the update is as follows:
  • 3 new positive cases
  • Total of 921 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
  • 268 active cases (254 isolating at home, 14 in hospital)
  • 594 recovered
  • 59 deaths
  • 8,611 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/)
