June 2 COVID-19 Update

  The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

 

We regretfully report the death of five Niagara County residents due to COVID-19.  We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of these individuals:

  • An 84 year-old female with underlying health conditions
  • An 86 year-old female with underlying health conditions
  • A 91 year-old female with underlying health conditions
  • A 97 year-old female with underlying health conditions
  • A 99 year-old female with underlying health conditions

     

     The rest of the update is as follows:

    •             2 new positive cases

    •             Total of 1084 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)

    •             255 active cases (244 isolating at home, 11 in hospital)

    •             759 recovered

    •             70 deaths

    •             14,223 people tested  (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )
