Volunteer

The Niagara County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) would be activated during an emergency.  Team members are engaged in meetings, trainings and exercises throughout the year.

Activities of the MRC include:

Mass dispensing of medication/vaccination (Point of Dispensing operations)

Sheltering (to include Medical Needs Sheltering and co-location of human/animal)

Companion Animal Response Team (NC CART Brochure)

Mass Casualty

Radiological Response (Community Reception Center operations)

Maternal and Child Health Promotion

First Aid Stations at community events

Health Screening clinics (at local health fairs)

Stop the Bleed initiative
