The Mission of the Niagara County Suicide Prevention Coalition is to develop and implement suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention strategies through public education, and access to services, as well as to promote awareness and provide support to our residents.

Suicide Prevention Center of NY
- New York State Office of Mental Health’s Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY) is the lead entity in suicide prevention in the state. SPCNY provides technical assistance that advances the New York State Suicide Prevention Plan. Information is available on the SPCNY site that includes: finding support, education and training, a resource library, and data.
For Family Members and Loved Ones of Military Service Members and Veterans in NYS
- WorriedAboutaVeteran.org (WAV), is an innovative resource for family members and loved ones of Military Service members and Veterans in New York State. Its purpose is to connect families with information and resources around firearm safety and suicide prevention.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
