FREE Colon Cancer Risk Assessment

FREE colon cancer risk assessments will be available at the following locations throughout the month of March from 9:00am to 11:00am:

• Monday, March 4 - DeGraff Memorial Hospital, 445 Tremont Street, North Tonawanda

• Thursday, March 7 - Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston

• Wednesday, March 13 - Summit Healthplex, 6934 Williams Rd, Niagara Falls

• Thursday, March 14 - Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, 621-10th Street, Niagara Falls

• Tuesday, March 19 - Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, 521 East Avenue, Lockport

• Thursday, March 21 – Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, 2600 William Street., Newfane

No appointments are necessary. Appropriate referrals will be made based on risk factors. Educational materials will be available. Free in home colon cancer screening kits will be available for average risk men and women age 50-64 who do not have health insurance.

This event is being sponsored by the Niagara County Department of Health Cancer Services Program. The program provides FREE colon cancer screening for men and women ages 50 – 64 and FREE breast and cervical cancer screening for women ages 40 – 64 without health insurance.

Anyone completing an assessment will be entered to win a $10.00 Budwey’s Supermarket Gift Card. For more information call the Cancer Services Program of Niagara County at 278-8254.
