Niagara County Chairman Rebecca Wydysh addressed 48 high school students from the LYNC program (Leadership for the Youth of Niagara Communities) in the Legislative Chambers. LYNC is program run by Leadership Niagara and today's event was put together by Leadership Niagara President and CEO Liz Zulawski. Chairman Wydysh talked about how county government functions, the fact that she never envisioned herself becoming involved in politics and how there are many different paths that can lead a person to becoming involved in the Legislature. LYNC divides their program into 2 sections, so another group of students will visit the Legislature next week.
