Niagara County Launches Household Hazardous Waste Voucher Program

Niagara County Makes Goggles Available to Hair Salons, Barbershops

Niagara County Legislator Rich Andres today announced that the Niagara County Department of Emergency Services has goggles available for hair salons and barbershops to help them meet the state reopening guidelines.   Andres said the guidelines initially required face shields, but now have been amended by New York State to include goggles.

Niagara County “OneStop” Employment Center to Reopen Monday

Legislator Jesse Gooch today announced that the Niagara County Employment & Training OneStop Center located in the Trott Access Center will reopen on a limited basis beginning Monday, June 8th.  The center has been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Niagara County Has Face Coverings Available for Essential Businesses

Niagara County Legislature Passes Another Extension of County Tax Deadline

The Niagara County Legislature last night passed a resolution extending the deadline for payment of county taxes without interest and penalties until May 31, 2020.  The resolution passed unanimously.  This is the second extension the Legislature has passed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
