The Niagara County Department of Employment and Training will be holding a “mini” walk-up career fair next Thursday, September 24, for those seeking employment.   Eight companies with open positions have signed up to participate and more are expected to take part.

Tonawanda Creek in Pendleton to Reopen to Two-way Traffic on Friday

Niagara County DMV to Host Saturday Event for CDL Renewals

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski today announced the Niagara County Department of Motor Vehicles will hold special office hours this Saturday, August 29 at the North Tonawanda and Lockport DMV offices for those who need to renew their Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL).   No appointment is necessary.

Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh today announced that she was approving the opening of gyms and fitness centers, including indoor classes, in Niagara County on August 24th, the earliest date allowed by Governor Cuomo.  The Governor had left the decision on gym openings to local county officials.

Public Hearing on NCCC Budget will be Held Prior

Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh today announced the that next meeting of the Niagara County Legislature on Tuesday, August 4 would take place in the Legislative Chamber of the Niagara Courthouse at 7 p.m.  The Legislature meeting will be preceded by a public hearing on the Niagara County Community College budget at 6:45 p.m.  The Legislature has been meeting virtually since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Niagara County to Begin Bridge Replacement in Town of Porter
