Bonnie Rice Named Executive Director of Workforce Development Board

The Niagara County Workforce Development Board today named Bonnie Rice as its new Executive Director.  The Workforce Development Board is a consortium comprised of a majority of private business leaders from the local community, as well as representatives from education, labor, and community organizations.

Niagara County Encourages Purple Heart Veterans to Come Forward

County Clerk Joseph Jastrzemski said Niagara County will once again honor Purple Heart Veterans by adding their name to county’s Book of Honor at a ceremony to be held this August.  Jastrzemski was joined by Timothy Beach, a US Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and the recipient of two Purple Heart awards, in announcing the county’s continuing effort to recognize all of its citizens wounded in battle.

Legislator Collins Says County Legislature Will Never Sell Davison Road Land

Niagara County Receives Funding to Support Small Business

New York State Approves Funding for Microenterprise Grant Program

The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency today announced its Consolidated Funding Application for a Microenterprise Grant Program has been approved by New York State with $200,000 in funds being made available. The program will provide resources to support and foster the development of local microbusinesses.

Niagara County Legislature Announces Standing Committees and Committee Meeting Dates for 2020

North Tonawanda DMV Evening Hours

Lockport  - Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski announced today that the North Tonawanda Department of  Motor Vehicles located at 500 Wheatfield Street will not offer extended evening hours on Tuesday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 31st in observance of the holidays.  The office will close at the regular time, 4:30 PM.
