John Syracuse, Vice Chairman of the Niagara County Legislature, today said golf courses, campgrounds and boat launches in Niagara County are open in full accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders as well as guidance from the Niagara County Department of Health.

Niagara County Treasurer’s Office Resumes Normal Business Hours

The Niagara County Treasurer's office has resumed normal business hours operating between 8:30 - 4:30 on a daily basis.  We were able to do so while still meeting all requirements of Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders by reorganizing our staffing plan.

Private & Public Sectors Launch Survey to Determine COVID-19 Impact on WNY Business

Western New York’s public and private sectors are joining forces to assess the full economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses throughout the region.

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the cites of Buffalo and Niagara Falls, the counties of Erie and Niagara, and local chambers of commerce, tourism bureaus and economic development organizations today launched the WNY COVID-19 Business Impact Survey.

Niagara County DMV to Begin Vehicle Registrations/Transfer of Plates

Service Limited to Niagara County Residents

Tonawanda Creek in Lockport to Reopen to Two-Way Traffic

The Niagara County Department of Public Works announced today that the Lockport portion of the Tonawanda Creek Road Rehabilitation and Tonawanda Creek Slide Stabilization project will be open to two way traffic by the end of the business day, tomorrow, April 3, 2020.

NYS Extends Expirations on Vehicle Inspections, Pre-Licensing Certificates

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski today said New York State has extended expirations for both vehicle inspections and 5-hour course pre-licensing certificates due to the COVID-19 shutdown.  Jastrzemski said the state previously extended all driver’s licenses, non-driver identification cards and vehicle registrations with an expiration date of March 1, 2020 or later.

Niagara County COVID-19 Updates Available for Viewing

Niagara County has partnered with Lockport Community Television (LCTV) to bring regular updates to Niagara County residents on COVID-19.  These updates are broadcast live on LCTV and streamed live LCTV.net.  After the update, the video is upload to the LCTV on demand library for future viewing.

County Clerk Jastrzemski Says Real ID Postponed Until 2021
