Niagara County Department of Health Says Results of Rapid Testing of School Staff Is Very Encouraging

The Niagara County Department of Health today said it has completed voluntary, rapid testing of teachers and staff in five school districts and thus far the results are not showing any significant presence of COVID-19 in our schools’ faculty and staff population

Niagara County to Host Windsong Mobile Mammography Van in Ransomwille

Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh and Legislator Irene Myers today announced that the Windsong Mobile Mammography Screening Van will be at the Ransomville Fire Company on Saturday, October 31 to conduct breast cancer screening.  Appointments must be scheduled with Windsong prior to the event.

Niagara County DMV Doubles Number of Available Appointments

Previously Expired Documents Must be Renewed by November 3

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski today said that New York State is requiring that all previously expired documents that were still considered valid during the pandemic be renewed by November 3.   This includes driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations and non-driver identification cards.

Niagara County Announces Next Community Engagement Meetings on Sheriff’s Office

“Art of Suffrage” Celebrating Passage of 19th Amendment on Display In Niagara County Courthouse

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote and in celebration of this historic milestone, visitors to the Niagara County Courthouse in Lockport can see pieces of the display the “Art of Suffrage.”  The Art of Suffrage had been on display at the Kenan Center since February.
