The Purchasing Division is responsible for the purchase of materials,
supplies, and services for all Niagara County Departments with the
objective of obtaining the best quality products and services for the best
price, and in a timely manner. Purchasing is responsible for initiating
and maintaining effective and professional relationships with vendors and
the various County Department employees, and to serve as the exclusive
channel through which all requests for County purchases and price
quotations are handled.
Niagara County is partnering with IPT by BidNet as part of the Empire
State Purchasing System (which is hosted by BidNetDirect) and will post
all Bids, RFP’s and RFQ information to this site. As a vendor, you can
register with the Empire State Purchasing System
and be sure that you see all available bids and opportunities. By
selecting automatic bid notification, your company will receive e-mails
anytime Niagara County has a bid opportunity that matches your company’s
business. In addition, the site handles bid opportunities, RFPs, and RFQs
for other member governmental agencies.
