Do you live in zip codes 14301, 14303 or 14305 and want to learn about health and wellness topics that can positively improve the health of you and your family? The Niagara County Department of Health, in collaboration with local agencies and partners, is offering a free Positive Pregnancy and Parenting class series. All registered adult participants will receive a gift card for participation at each class.

The several week series workshop will include topics such as breastfeeding, safe sleep, bedtime routines, nurturing parenting, stress reduction, lead screening and prevention, chronic disease reduction, developmental screening for young children, and family spacing. Those participating in the class series will be empowered to make healthy choices by receiving information, gaining knowledge of the agencies and free services available to the community and receive free take home items relevant to the class topics.

Please register for the Positive Pregnancy and Parenting class series by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NCDOH_PPP_Class  or calling 716-439-7436. Our first class series will begin March 6 and occur every Tuesday and Thursday that month from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the Community Health Center of Niagara, 2715 Highland Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.

If you have any questions regarding this class series, please call the Division of Public Health Planning and Emergency Preparedness, Elise Pignatora, Division Director, at (716) 439-7431.
