The Niagara County Department of Health welcomes Niagara Falls residents to its first front lawn Community Resource Fair to occur on Wednesday September 12 from 11:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. at Trott Access Center located at 1001 11th Street Niagara Falls, NY 14301. “The Community Resource Fair is a great opportunity to learn about the many services and programs available to help individuals and families stay healthy, happy and safe,” stated Daniel Stapleton, Public Health Director. A great variety of health, wellness and safety vendors will be present to promote and educate. “Join us to learn something new and make some new connections,” he added.

In an effort to build a stronger community, the Niagara County Department of Health is bringing together local providers who will be staffing display tables and eager to share information. The Community Resource Fair has something for everyone. Whether you are a parent with children, a teenager, a young adult, an adult, or a senior…there will be something for you. “We are excited to host this event as it is an excellent opportunity to connect with community resources, speak to various service providers and engage within the Niagara Falls community,” stated Laurie Schoenfeldt, Director of Nursing.  Kristin Wolf, a Public Health Nurse organized the Community Resource Fair and is pleased with the great interest expressed by local agencies and partners. “The event is free and we look forward to seeing the local community visit us,” stated Kristin Wolf, Public Health Nurse. “We will have a prize wheel as well as giveaways,” she added.

If you have additional questions or concerns regarding the Community Health Fair, please call the Niagara County Department of Health Nursing Division at (716) 278-1900.
