Firefighter Physical Agility Test

The City of North Tonawanda anticipates filling one vacancy in August 2024.  This canvass letter is to gauge candidate interest and also so that candidates can participate in the required physical agility test scheduled for April 26, 2024 and April 27, 2024.  Non-residents are being canvassed so that they may participate in the required physical agility test.  When the eligible list is certified to actually fill the vacancies, only North Tonawanda residents will be certified.  The City will conduct interviews and background checks once the physical agility test has been completed.
