NEW LICENSE PLATE FEES

There's a new push to stop New York State's plan that requires new license plates on all vehicles by April 1, 2010. This was all approved as part of the state budget passed over the summer, with all those new taxes and fees.

New plates will cost each vehicle owner an extra $25, and net the state an additional $130 million.
