Complete Senior Care - Complete Senior Care provides all the medical, social and support services needed to keep frail elders living at home instead of going into nursing homes. Participants may attend the day center for meals, activities, medical services and rehabilitation therapies. If a participant needs home care or any other service at home while away from the center, it is provided. The program provides, arranges and pays for primary care, any hospitalization, all specialty care, transportation, prescriptions, environmental and social supports, and even short-term and long-term nursing home care if needed. Social work is also provided.

What is EPIC?  The Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program is a New York State Program administrated by the Department of Health.  It provides seniors with co-payment assistance for Medicare Part D covered prescription drugs after any Part D deductible is met.  EPIC also covers many Medicare Part D excluded drugs.

National Family Caregiver Support Program  - From the US Administration on Aging, offers information on the implementation of the National Family Caregiver Support Program, including a resource guide, issue briefs and resources for caregivers.

National Parkinson's Foundation -  To improve the quality of life for the Parkinson's community through out Western NY.  There is a support group at the Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital on the 1st Sunday of the month. For more details call 716-791-3049.  The 411 on Parkinson.

SNAP- A new name for food stamps.  Check your eligibility for a range of benefits for food assistance.  It's quick, easy and confidential.

The Kaiser Family Foundation - Publishes “Talking With Your Parent About Medicare and Health Coverage,” “Medicare Chart Book,” and other information and research through “The Medicare Policy Project.”

Veterans Service Agency - Our aim is to insure that all veterans and their dependents have access to any benefits to which they may be eligible as the result of the veteran’s active duty military or naval service. There are benefits due to some reservists and national guardsmen, but this must be determined on an individual basis.
