Parker Gurnett from Boy Scout Troop #82 will be unveiling his Eagle Scout project.  Chairman of the Safety and Security Committee, Legislator David Godfrey, said “Receiving the Eagle Scout is the most prestigious award to obtain.  This project took the front entry area to the Warren J. Rathke Public Safety Training Facility and transformed it into a memorial dedicated to the firefighters of Niagara County and those who have lost their lives in the Line of Duty in Niagara County. I am honored to be able to recognize the first responders and the life-saving services they provide to our community.”

Chairman of the Niagara County Legislature, W. Keith McNall said “We are proud of the work that Parker Gurnett and the members of Troop #82 put in to complete this renovation, which includes new bushes and plants, stone work and two large engraved memorial stones.”

The ceremony will take place Saturday, October 27, 2018 at noon at the Warren J. Rathke Public Safety Training Facility located at 5574 Niagara Street Extension, Lockport, New York.
